1. Most people in our industry work for a proprietary company. Their advice is skewed by their own limitations. Best Minds, Inc is an independent Registered Investment Advisor. We report only to our clients.

2. We are fee only advisors and cannot receive commissions for the sale of any financial product. While there is certainly nothing wrong with receiving compensation in the form of commissions, we believe that working solely on a fee basis allows us to be more objective in our advice.

3. The pain of 2000-2002 created in me an insatiable desire to read and research the world of money. From 2003 til the end of the first quarter of 2005, I have read over 18,000 pages of information. This includes over 30 books as well as hundreds of charts, government documents, and articles. After reading this site and listening to the sound files, I think you will agree that extensive research and historical points of reference must be the basis of any sound advice.

4.We offer consulting services as well as retail advisory services. It may prove difficult to find another firm whose engagement contracts offer clients more flexibility in their quest to achieve their objectives.

5. We believe that finding great investment strategies, especially those that can profit from a long term declining markets, is extremely rare. If portfolio managers do not have the potential to grow assets in a declining market, they are not even considered for recommendation.

6. Because of our contacts at institutional and retail levels, we offer options that meet the needs of institutional and retail investors of all sizes.

7. Realizing every investment strategy has its season, we constantly monitor changes in the financial landscape and research those who are building systems to take advantage of these changes.

8. We read comments form a wide range of highly respected and staunchly independent minds. Since they all disagree on some points, we are forced to formulate our own unique insights, rather than blindly following a guru or school of thought.

9. We believe that we have an ethical responsibility to research topics thoroughly and provide our most honest opinions. Our first priority is not to make friends; we are trying to save our clients from substantial losses, even if that means we may lose some.
