Doug has been in the financial industry for 32 years. Doug received his CFP in 1988, his Masters in Estate Planning in 1997. As of 10/31/07 he relinquished his CFP designation. The focus since 2005 has been on providing investment research and weekly commentary on world markets as well as specific recommendations on third party trading managers. Broad based financial planning is not a service of Best Minds Inc.
His industry research paper, Riders on the Storm: Short Selling in Contrary Winds (Jan 06), is one of the few documents written on the topic of short selling. The monthly research newsletter, The Investor's Mind, has existed since January 2006, but will no longer be available.
