Good morning. I have been reading or listening to commentary on the metals markets because of the historic drop we saw that started last Thursday. Since my writings are not set up for quick commentary, I wanted to share some links with you instead.
I will have more to add to this post by Saturday.
One of the best interviews I heard was just yesterday, February 3rd. The interviewer and interviewee have decades of experience in the metals markets. Being a technical guy who focuses more on numbers and patterns, especially if they are over decades, this interview is one everyone should hear.
Michael Oliver on the January 30, 2026 Silver Market Crash, Jay Taylor Media.
Both Taylor and Jim Rickards, another name you should know who has decades of experience at the highest level of money and politics, spoke about an AI “person” on X called, Asia Guy (@AG AsianGuy). More on that later.
Finally, it is interesting that this notice can be found on the website of the Secretary of State, a meeting that takes place this morning.

“On February 4, 2026, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will host the inaugural Critical Minerals Ministerial at the Department of State in Washington, D.C. The United States will welcome delegations from over 50 nations to advance collective efforts to strengthen and diversify critical minerals supply chains. This historic gathering will create momentum for collaboration to secure these critical components vital to technological innovation, economic strength, and national security.”
Once again, with the meeting happening this morning, I wanted to get out this information this morning. Back later this week.
